Training for the new part-time job this week. I'll be the PRN "On Call" weekend pharmacist (every other weekend), which means I won't get full payment unless I actually go into the pharmacy. It's getting my foot in the door, though, and some pay is better than nothing ( Read more... )

Headed out to my writing critique group Christmas party in an hour or so. We're going to have finger foods and play games and chat. I am "attending" the League of Utah Writers' Quills Conference this weekend. Lots of great handouts, good virtual sessions on top of their live stuff, and a scavenger hunt! Last year I won this year's free ticket from the scavenger hunt but this year I'm not in first place so no free ticket for next time! Maybe by then things will have calmed down ( Read more... )
